As a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) trained organization Universal Security is one of a handful of organizations with the ability to develop disaster preparedness plans for hazards that may impact your geographic area and train your team members in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. As a result of this training, your team will be prepared to assist in the workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help.
Many organizations have used Universal Security’s Consulting Services to protect their assets and their employees. Notably, the Obama Campaign hired Universal Security to provide a comprehensive security plan for its 2008 bid for the presidency. Additionally, after a tragic incident at a mall in one of Chicago’s suburbs Universal Security provided commentary to ABC News Chicago as to how retailers and other establishments can protect themselves and their customers from violent crimes.
